Samsung Galaxy Note Ad Emphasizes the Hybrid's Stronger Features

Samsung released a new ad earlier this week for the Samsung Galaxy Note that emphasizes some of the devices more interesting features.

It shows the user working with the S Pen, a stylus like component that comes with the tablet-smartphone hybrid.

The ad also has the song "Alone in Kyoto" by AIR playing in the background.

The Galaxy Note became available on AT&T by delivery on Feb. 17 of this year and pre-orders began for the device on Feb. 5. It officially landed in stores on Feb. 19 and is available in both carbon blue and ceramic white colors for $250 on Amazon.com with a new two-year agreement.

"The Galaxy Note combines the best features of a smartphone with the larger viewing screen of a tablet and advanced technology in the S Pen – delivering an all-in-one device that allows users to work more efficiently and maintain productivity, while communicating in a unique, personal way," according to a Samsung press release regarding the device.

The company goes on to describe the device as the world's first 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED (1280x800) handset. The Samsung Galaxy Note features the largest touch-screen included on a smartphone in the market.

"The Galaxy Note includes a highly advanced tool called the S Pen, which delivers fast, responsive and precise control to create fine lines and detail on the device display, much like an ink pen and pad of paper," continued the press release. "With the S Pen, users can easily sketch drawings, jot down notes, or write emails texts quickly and easily in free-form handwriting."

It also includes S Memo which is a multimedia application that is designed to capture all forms of user-created content and that drawn by the S Pen. It allows for pictures, voice recordings, typed text, handwritten notes or drawings to be combined with a single application to a "memo."
