Pictures of what could be the Samsung Galaxy S3 have been leaked onto the internet this week.
The images were published by Gizmodo Brasil on Thursday and show the front and back of a device that they are claiming to be Samsung's next flagship smartphone.
Gizmodo Brasil's source stated that the model number of the phone is i9300 which BGR has previously said to be the Galaxy S3. It also reportedly features a 12-megapixel camera.
Samsung could be launching the device as early as the first couple of weeks in May.
The Korean electronics giant sent out an invite to an event earlier this week called "Come and meet the next Galaxy," where the company is expected to unveil the Galaxy S3 device.
This event is set to take place on May 3 in London, England.
Samsung also stated that the Galaxy S3 launch and unveiling will take place close together. This means Galaxy fans should be able to get their hands on the smartphone sometime next month.
Inside sources recently confirmed to CNET that Samsung will have a 4.7-inch display on the Galaxy S3 with a five column UI, as opposed to the traditional 4 row UI featured on most Galaxy devices.
This will give it a 310ppi pixel density making it very close to the iPhone's retina display.
It also is expected to feature Google's latest operating system Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich along with an exterior made out of ceramic material.
The Galaxy S3 was also confirmed to have the Exynos Quad-core 1.5GHz processing chip along with 1GB of RAM, according to YouMobile.
The device will go up against HTC's new One X smartphone and the next generation iPhone when it is released later on this year.
The One X is launching on May 6 and the iPhone is expected to be released some time between June and Oct 2012.
